it's almost new year, have you make any resolutions? in case you don't know resolutions (maybe non-english speaker), it's your computer screen size, if you right click on your desktop, there will be change resolutions.......
oh silly me, resolutions is target to achieve, i don't know why its called that instead of just target.
speaking of resolution, this video just pop into my mind, it's a very cool stop motion music video, they change the title and add their account name, in case someone steal their video, so i'm pretty sure that this video is the original.
not really MY music video, because it's their song and i do help them make the video.
when i was looking at my youtube playlist, favorite, likes, history. i realize that i have something that i should have shared with you some time ago.
to be honest, i often want to post something, but not in video format or something edited, its just something i want to share, but my idealism make me stuck on my own.
Editing station idealism means that i only share video editing stuff made by me and not take someone works. now i realize that i don't need to think too much on this idealism and just move on. if i need to share some great stuff, i will just share it and support whoever make that great stuff.
anyway, i'm really sorry for all the long pause that i have make in this blog, i humbly thank you who come here and read my post. (and i don't like reading long post)

i was really forget that i have to update this blog once in a while, right now i was studying at 3d animation, it really a lot of fun because i want to step into a next level of creating nothing.
i just finish my first 3d works recently, but i wasn't able to upload it, maybe i compile it to a longer version so you can enjoy more rather that 4 seconds test video.
it's pretty busy week yesterday that make me forgot to make a matte painting video, but it seems that i still cannot take my head off the hero test project and end up making 1 in the following days.
i search up freezing touch, i don't know why it always shows freezing time?

i'm taking an example of what a freezing animation should do when freezing something
if you look closely, freezing actually jump and expand from point to point
i'm having a hard time right now managing my job and this study of fire (because lightning part is done). i hope i can do more in the next week.
i haven't decided what theme i set for this week, but i think matte painting is a fun topic to discuss, i have several times doing matte painting because i love to see very huge area of something uncommon. later i'll embed my work here.
after a long time searching for lightning, it is not simple as i seems. you want to control this randomness of lightning. a lot of time, i cannot achieve what i want, 1 frame is ok but the animation will make it less dynamic.
this is the type of lightning i create so far
i don't think there's a need for me to appear and using this effect. this is part of my experimentation so later on when i make some film, i know how to make them.
i do some research on how lightning should look like, and i just finish watching thor. those lightning was awesome, not to mention that the characteristic of lightning suppose to be.
there are several type of lightning and there's also a thunder.
1. lightning ball, it's usually charge up, forming a ball, then shoot. i think this ball is very easy, but take time to animate the charge.
2. bolt, maybe i can make it the same as strike one, this type of lightning is long and wobbly around. but there are several type of bolt, one is zap then fade, and another is zapping for a longer period of time.
3. laser like bolt, like the one gash bell have for his spell zakeruga. i only think that this effect only available in anime, but i hope i can make it in real life.
4. lightning for the sky, not like any other type i mention above, this one doesn't come from your hand. you can achieve this effect from video copilot tutorial by andrew kramer.
i hope i can make each example above and apply it to real life footage.

hi everyone, i want to say thank you for coming to this blog, i like to make video and i try to make everything organize, so i set a theme for every week (hopefully every week). and this week's theme is HERO....
i will make a video with special effect for any kind of hero power that might make you smile.
here is the list of power that i will make, i'll make sure for myself that i will make them all.
1. telekinesis
2. lightning
3. fire
4. umm... teleport
i think 4 is enough for now, i cannot think of anything.
